Just need my work checked:

Projectile moves along the straight line according to the formula s(t)=1/2 t^3-2t
Determine its velocity and acceleration at the end of 2 seconds.
V(t)= (3x^2)/2-2
v(2)=(3(2)^2)/2-2=4
a(t)=3x
a(2)=6
 
I'm a little puzzled where 'x' came from. Other than that, it seems olay.
 
You're just not paying attention. You have V(t) = 'x'. That's no good. V(t) would use a 't', not an 'x'. You should have studied function notation in algebra. Please go review your basic algebra.
