Use the Distributive Property.

The negative sign in front of the parentheses is an abbreviation for "multiply by -1"

(-1)(-2s - 3t)

This is the form in the Distributive Property:

(A)(B + C)

In your exercise, A is -1, B is -2s and C is -3t

The Distributive Property says:

A(B + C) = AB + AC

So, multiply AB and AC, and add the results.

(-1)(-2s)
