problem involving logaritmic function

please help me in this, i dont know how to start

If A=log2log2log4 256 + 2 log*22, then A= ?? (* means square root)

The answer is 5, but i didnt get it..

I assume you meant:

\(\displaystyle A=\log_{2}(\log_{2}(log_{4}256))+2\log_{\sqrt{2}}(2)?\)

That being said, what are some of the basic log rules you have learned?

THANKYOU SO MUCH!! I got it!!
we can do this easily like log4256 = 4 log44 = 4. Similarliy, we can simplify the whole thing, adding brackets makes it easier to understand quickly..
