i have done some of the work but having trouble graphing it. even though it tells me to use a calculator, i cant seem to get it right.

Problem:

Use a calculator to find the indicated limit. Use a graphing calculator to plot the function near the limit point.

lim(sinx)/(7x) = 1/7 lim (sinx)/(x) = 1/7 * 1 = 1/7 aproximately .143
x-0 x-0

The graphing of this is what i am having trouble with. Any help hints?

Here's the graph. What sort of calculator do you have?.

Remember, when graphing this it has to be entered in with the 7x in parentheses. Otherwise the calcualtor will think you mean

xsin(x)/7

No wonder you can't graph then. I hate HP calculators. That RPN is aggravating. Trade it in for a TI-89 or Voyage 200. Much more user-friendly.

Anyway, the graph is in my last post. Remember to enter it as sin(x)/(7x) and not sin(x)/7x
