If you roll two fair dice, one red and one green. What is the probability that you get a sum of 7 given that one die is an even number?
Thank you.

You can view a graphic with red and white dice, showing all the possible outcomes, here:

Notice that this is a 6 x 6 array, with 36 outcomes. Count the ones which meet your criteria (sum of 7 given that one die is an even number). That number, divided by 36, is your probability. Make sense?
