Hi,
I'm struggling with the following problem. I've reread the chapter several times and as I said I'm struggling and really need your assistance please. I have to get this paper in by 8am EST tomorrow morning.
X is a continuous random variable with the following pdf: y=p(x)=2x
0 < or = X < or = 1. (Sorry had to write 0 is less than or equal to X less than or equal to 1). Given that pdf, what is the probability that X is 1/4?
Please help. I'm sure it's simple. I'm just not getting it right now.
Thanks in Advance.
