Why do all probabilities fall between 0 and 1 or 0% and 100%?

Because they have to be somewhere on the continuum between impossiblity (0) and certainty (1). What lies outside??

We can’t have less likelihood than impossible (0), and we can’t have more certainty than absolute certainty (1). Nothing lies “outside” the 0 to 1 range in terms of probability.
