1 shirt and 1 tie cost 29.50 $ A total of $ 1,000 is spent and a combination of 100 items are bought. Find the 2 quantities and 2 prices ?

s + t = 100, c+ p = 29.50 , cs + pt = 1,000 . s and t are the 2 quantities, c and p are the 2 prices. Could you solve it graphically ?
c+ p * s + t = 2,950 ct + ps = 1,950 . After some manipulation, 2p + 2c = 59 . However, we knew this from the first line. Thanks in advance. Do we ned more info,? solve problems like this in bus admin , tend to be more like linear programming.

Since you have 4 unknown values, the two quantities and two prices, and only three conditions- the three equations you have below- it is impossible to solve this.

s + t = 100, c+ p = 29.50 , cs + pt = 1,000 . s and t are the 2 quantities, c and p are the 2 prices. Could you solve it graphically ?

One more condition on the four unknown values would be sufficient.
