Greetings!
I have tried to find a formula for this question but my google fu has completely failed me and statistics was too long ago.
I have 5 tiers of items based on a set probability of each appearing:
Tier 1 - 50%
Tier 2 - 25%
Tier 3 - 15%
Tier 4 - 7%
Tier 5 - 3%
The Tier 1 item has a value of 0.5 silver pieces. With all other variables being equal, what would the value of the other tiers be?
Either an answer or a formula would be fine with me. This isn't a homework assignment, rather, I'm trying to set up an in-game economy for a role playing game.
Thanks!
Matthew
