prealgebra &introductory algebra-3(-2)+12 divided by -(-4-5)

I moved your post into its own thread.

It looks like you have two exercises.

\(\displaystyle \frac{-3(-2) + 12}{-(-4 - 5)}\)

\(\displaystyle \frac{|15 - 20|^{2}}{2(-3 - 6) + 2}\)

You forgot to post the instructions, but I guess that you're supposed to simplify these ratios.

You need to know about the Order of Operations, the Distributive Property, and Absolute Value.

Do these sound familiar?

What have you thought about or tried thus far?
