I need help understanding Compound Inequality. Can you please explain it to me. There's a word problem that asks to write a compound of inequality to represent facts: The highest temperature recorded in Texas is 120 degrees F. The lowest is -20 degrees F. The temperature in Texas is t. How do I write a compound of inequality representing both facts?
Would it be t is greater that or equal to 120 F is greater than -20?
I'm so confused.

Generally, you would want the intermediate item in the middle.

-20ºF < t < 120ºF
