1(x) for unicycle
2(x) for tandems
3(x) for tricycles
2(32) for regular bikes if im thinking wheels which is 6(x) + 64 = 115, subtracting 64 wheels from both sides leaving 51.
6(x) = 51, dividing both sides by 6 I have 8 3/6 or 8 1/2
1(8) + 2(8) + 3(8) + 64 = 112????
1(9) + 2(9) + 3(9) + 64 = 118????
Thinking
1(x) for unicycles
2(x) for tandems
1(x) for tricycles if im thinking helments which is 4(x) = 57. i need to subtract 32 helments for regular bikes which leaves 25
4(x) = 25, dividing both sides by 4 I have 6 1/4.
1(6) + 2(6) + 1(6) = 25
24 does not equal 25.
1(7) + 2(7) + 1(7) = 25
28 does not equal 25
basically I know the logic but am having trouble with equations. I know unicycles and tandems need to be the same. by substitution Im either over three or under three. who gets the three?
