hi I'm new to this website I have a question regarding powers.
(iii) find a condition involving m and arg w which ensures that
(w^1/n)^m = (w^m)^1/n
w is not omega just something like x and can be complex
book says -pi<margw<pi :sssss
i can't even verify it coz surely if n is 2 then the equation doesn't hold as there are 2 solutions on the left hand side and 1 on the right
