evaluate the expression: -4a - b+2c-d

if
-2x^3+5x^2-4
--------------- = ax^2+bx+c + D
x-3 ----
x-3

the x-3 is only under the first one and under "D"

i dont even get what the heck shes asking...

You have a rational expression (a fraction) on the left side of the equation. Perform the long division. (Divide (x - 3) into (-2x^3+5x^2-4).)

Next compare that answer to the division with the right side of the equation. This will tell you what the values of a, b, c, and d are.

Finally, just plug those values into -4a - b+2c-d to get the answer.
