Determine whether or not the following sequences of functions is pointwise convergent.
So far what I've tried for part (a)
for every ?∈[1,6] and for every ϵ>0 there exists a ?∈ℕsuch that
?∈ℕ and ?>?⟹ |??(?)−?(?)| <?.
I'm having trouble finding a suitable n, I'm not sure if the is the correct approach to the question or if to simply substitute when x=1 and x=6 and evaluate the limits. Any suggestions?
