52) 4p2(p-1), 6p(p+1)2

Are the numbers preceding the variables the constants, and the numbers following the variables the exponents? For instance, does "36x2y2z2" mean "36 x² y² z²"?

Does your book give you any particular method that it wants you to use for this?
