please, QUICK! word problem

Hi everyone,

here's the word problem: "There are 24 students in an algebra class. Of these, 18 passed English and 15 passed science. 6 of the students passed English and failed science. How many students failed both English and science?"

I tried to use a venn diagram...I'm clueless. Please help! Thanks

Now that you have this, can you try it again?

Outside the sets are those that failed.
In the English set, you have those who passed English,
In the Science set, you have those who passed Science.
