Hi !!! I really need some help on this exercises , i am a 1st grade student, if i dont make this correctly i wont get into exam .

A material point "M" moves after the parametric law given by x=x(t), y=y(t), where "x" and "y" are point coordinates in xOy plan in cm.

1. Which is the equation of the material point trajectory ? (Please make a graphic design at scale)
2. Which are the analytical expressions of the speed and acceleration of the material point?

This are the numbers

x(t)= 3t 2 + 2
y(t)= -4t

What do you think needs to be done to eliminate the parameter?

y(t)= -4t

x(t)= 3t2 + 2 → is that correct?

If it is - then you could also write it as:

x(t)= 3t^2 + 2 → here "^" (Shift+6) indicates "power"
