The question says to solve each system.
I need to greaph it too. it says:
y=x-3
y=-x+3
and so far I graphed the x-3 one first.
I'm not even sure if I did that correctly.
Btw, i'm in 7th grade.
but i'm not sure how to graph the slope of -x

You don't "graph the slope". The slope helps you graph the equation.

y = x - 3

Start at the y-intercept, (0,-3) and use the slope to move to another point, (1, -2)

y = -x + 3

Start at the y-intercept, (0,3) and use the slope to move to another point, (1, 2)

That should get you started.

y = x - 3

We only need two points in the form (x,y) to graph a line in the coordinate plane.

I will pick two numbers for x out of a hat. LOL.

Let x = 0

y = 0 - 3

y = -3

The first point to plot is (0,-3).

Let x = 4

y = 4 - 3

y = 1

The second point to plot is (4,1).

Now connect the two points with a straight line.

Doing this will give you a picture of the graph of y = x - 3.

Do the same thing for the other linear equation.

Can you take it from here?
