I NEED HELP WITH THESE QUESTIONS.. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO.
PLEASE HELP
1.) find the mean control chart if 50 samples, each of size 25 are taken with the results: mean 8, sample variance 4
If mean moves to 9, what is the prob. that there are no more than 3 Nonconf. in the next 5 samples
2.) find the best sample size to assure the probability of rejecting a sample when the true prob. is 7% is 90% and justify your methodology choice?
3.) When the customer's primary interest is in the quality of individual items, how do u explain the popularity of mean control chart?
4.) Construct a cumsum control chart for following and state all assumptions made.
3,7,8,11,10,14,17
how are cumsum charts, diff. than EWMA than moving range charts?
