simplify 3^3-8(1+2) over -10-(3+8)
Follow your "order of operations" rules for the numerator to simplify it, then do the same for the denominator. Finally, cancel out any common factors between the numerator and denominator. Can you make an attempt with this information?
3^3-8(1+2)over-10-(3+8)=3^3-8(3)over-10-(11)=27-27 over-21 correct!!!!

Good effort -- and on the right track -- just a minor math error to watch out for. 8*3 = 24, so we end up with
(27 - 24)/(-21)
= 3/(-21)
= -1/7
