Basically, I missed a whole month of school. And in that month my geometry teacher taught us sign, cosign and tangant...believe it or not I don't get it at all. She didn't tutor me at all or help me out so I'm kind of on my own. Does anyone know anything about tan. sin and co-sin and like what you need to do for problems involving that?
Thanks,
Meredith

Seriously...if you missed a -whole month- of school... then you need to be getting one-on-one help from your teacher or learning center.

On your own:

Google for "trig functions" and "unit circle"

Learn how to find the sine and cosine of an angle by using a unit circle. Tangent is simply sine/cosine

Learn the three basic trig functions and how they can be used to find a missing side of a right triangle. Or find a missing angle with their inverse.

It would also be helpful to know what exactly you need to learn about these functions. Perhaps try looking in your math book and coming back with more specific questions about what you are having trouble with.

In the meantime, you'd probably find better answers through a google search or something by spelling the words correctly: sin, cos, and tan will get you results, as will sine, cosine and tangent.

When I was in high school, I missed three weeks of school when I was on tour -- and missed the lectures on i, the imaginary number, in my AP trig course. You're really going to need to get some tutoring or something to catch up. Trust me. See what options your school has available to you.
