Please help with problem

Hi

I have a probelm with a trapezioid. I know that to find the midsegment, it is 1/2(B1+B2). But in this problem I have the midsegment but the other two sides have a variable in it. How do i solve for the variable. Please write back

It's a littel tough to say without knowing either the drawign or the variables.

Can you provide a substantially better description?
