"Evaluate" usually means "plug a value in and simplify", or otherwise simplify to arrive at a numerical value for an expression. One does not "evaluate" an equation; one "solves" it. So this question is quite puzzling.Evaluate
E (with the 4 above it) i/2 i = -6
Is this the problem:Evaluate
E (with the 4 above it) i/2 i = -6
If this is the problem (and it is very clever of JeffM to get this from what you wrote!) then it simply means: replace the "i" in "i/2" with -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 2, and 4 and add those 11 numbers. Is this the problem:
\(\displaystyle Evaluate\ \displaystyle \sum_{i=-6}^4\dfrac{i}{2}.\)
