Hello Dear, I need to show that both of them are equal. Thank you!
Did you post the COMPLETE problem, as it was given to you - including any and all other instructions?Hello Dear, thanks for your reply. The two equations are equal but I have to prove they are equal. I just can't get the derivative.
They are equal IF [MATH]\frac{dy}{dx} = \frac{1+6e^x}{1+2e^x}[/MATH].Hello Dear, I need to show that both of them are equal.
Thank you!
By the way, two equations can't be equal. You probably meant, both expressions.Hello Dear, thanks for your reply. The two equations are equal but I have to prove they are equal. I just can't get the derivative.
Thank you so much! They are equal IF [MATH]\frac{dy}{dx} = \frac{1+6e^x}{1+2e^x}[/MATH].
What do you know about y?
Or did you insert a y where it doesn't belong, and the problem is really to differentiate [MATH]8e^x(1+2e^x)^2[/MATH] ?
By the way, two equations can't be equal. You probably meant, both expressions.
