So is it a rectangle or triangle?
Pick a few values for x and calculate 4-x. Any observations?

Is there a sketch associated with this question?

Sorry I meant to say it is a rectangle not a triangle.
This rectangle has a width of x and a length of x-4
And the question just asks what number can x represent.

The value of length of lines cannot be zero or negative \(\displaystyle \ \ \ \to \ \ \ \ \) What would be the maximum and minimum value of 'x'?

x must be more than 0

4-x must be more than 0 so x must be less than 4.

Hmm, x must be more than 0 and x must be less than 4. So what can x be? And please do not say that x can only be 1, 2 or 3.
