Hi. i finished my math homework and i just want to like double check if i got these answer right just in case. all you need to tell me is if it's correct. thank you!
1. solve the equation:
4/x-1 + 2/x+1 = 35/x²-1
for this i got the answer 11/2

2. i have to complete the square:
3x²-6x-1=0
for this i got the answer 3± ?10

3.Suppose an object is dropped from a height h0 above the ground. Then its height after t seconds is given by h = -16t ²+h0, when h is measure in feet. Use this information to solve the problem.
A ball is dropped fom the top of a building 96ft tall.
a) how long will it take to fall half the distance to ground level?
i got ?3

i got ?3 Yup, but in word problems, include units. A complete sentence is even better.

It takes sqrt(3) seconds for the object to fall 48 feet.
