f(x) = 6x

g(x) = 2x + 3

[f(x)]^4 * [g(x)]^3 *2 = (6x)^4 *(2x + 3)^3 *2

(the carrots meaning to the power of)

PLEASE HELP ME!! I NEED THE ANSWER ASAP
thanks for your help

and the answer also has to be in the form of a fraction not a decimal

Perhaps you should learn a little more patience, or plan ahead better so you are not in a panic.

You have it set up correctly. What's the problem?

I think you'll need a value of 'x' if you are to care whether it is decimal or fraction.

what do you mean there is nothing to solve?

im letting f(x) = 3x * 2 or 6x
and im letting g(x) = 2x + 3
im trying to figure out wut
f * g * f * g * f * g * f * 2 =

so therefore....

i need to kno (6x)^4 * (2x + 3)^3 * 2

i just really need the answer and i would GREATLY appreciate somebody just solving it, please.

I mean that you have not posted an equation to solve, nor specified the variable to solve for. You have posted two functions and an expression to simplify. If there is something to "solve", you have not yet included that within your various posts.

Please reply with the full and exact text of the exercise, the complete instructions, and a clear listing of the steps and reasoning you have tried thus far.

Thank you.

First, ^ is a caret, not a carrot (carrots are for Bugs Bunny).

Your problem is a multiplication: there will be NO FRACTIONS;
you've been told that a few times...

6x * 6x * 6x * 6x * (2x+3) * (2x+3) * (2x+3) * 2
Now, what makes you think anybody feels like multiplying this out for you?
If you can't do multiplications, then go see your teacher...

We can't even be sure the poster is supposed to multiply it out. And since "(3x)(2)" is a very odd way of stating a function, I have a feeling that it's actually "3x2".

Too bad the poster won't give us the exact statement of the exercise (using standard formatting) or the instructions.

well im sorry if i dont know the exact instructions i wrote exactly what it said and i don't know how to write in standard formatting but if you could tell me that would be great

The assignment didn't include instructions? You might want to conference with your instructor regarding this issue.

For text, please kindly use standard English formatting, with proper capitalization, punctuation, spelling, and grammer. (Not all of us old-timers are conversant in the latest in kiddie chat-speak.) For math, please study the links in the "Forum Help" pull-down menu at the very top of the page. The "Karl's Notes" link gives probably the simplest formatting (that is, the easiest to learn), but the LaTeX links will provide greater flexibility in formatting (for instance, with fractions and such).

Thank you.
