Please help me find density of block: will it float?

A material will float on the surface of a liquid if it has a less density than that of the liquid. Given the density of water is 1.0 g/cm^3 will a block of material having 1.2 x 10^4 in^3 and weighing 350lb float or sink.

Can you please help me? I have been lost for hours.

Convert cubic inches to cubic cm and lbs to grams

There are (2.54)^3 cubic cm in 1 cubic inch.

There are 453.59 grams in a lbs.

After converting, you should then have grams/cc. If the ratio is less than

1, it floats. If it's greater than 1, it sinks.
