[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]2(cuberoot(b^2)) + 9(cuberoot(b) - 5 = 0

Studying for a math exam and this question on the review is throwing me. Wants me to solve and find the exact solution. Any guidance on how to do this problem would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is \(\displaystyle 2\sqrt[3]{{b^2 }} + 9\sqrt[3]{b} - 5 = 0\).

Can you solve \(\displaystyle 2x^2+9x-5=0~?\)

If so then let \(\displaystyle x=\sqrt[3]{b}\) for both values of \(\displaystyle x.\)
