You need to check your post.

The function you had typed cannot be correct.

h = -4.9t^(?) + 15t + 1

Then simply replace t by 1.75 in that equation - and evaluate (using a caculator).

I believe you left out the exponent in the equation: h=4.9t^2+15t+1.
Then you just need to substitute 1.75 for t. Good luck, --john
