Please explain how I would find the least common multiple for pairs of polynomials. Thank you!


3xy^2z^3 and 6xy^4z^2
 
I'm not really the greatest person at math, so that probably explains why a) you should double check any answers i give you, and b) i have no idea what you want the lcd OF.... like.... the exponents?
yeah i'm not too great at figuring out the obvious.

You would use the same methodology as for numbers: completely factor into primes, and find the smallest product that contains all those factors.

There is a very graphical way of doing that can make short work of the sort of thing you've posted, but it's hard to draw here, so try taking a look here instead.
