I know this is supposed to factor completely but I think because the numbers are so large this is the reson I am having so much trouble the variables I understand I just can't find the numbers to factor this completly. Please help as soon as you can. Thanks a million!!
150s^2+360sd+216d^2

Factor 150s^2+360sd+216d^2

150 = (2)(3)(5)(5)
360 = (2)(2)(2)(3)(3)(5)
216 = (2)(2)(2)(3)(3)(3)

Therefore, common factors are 2 and 3. Factor them out:

150s^2+360sd+216d^2 = (6)(25s^2 + 60sd + 36d^2)

Can you proceed from here?

Another small hint:

25s[sup:5yhihgin]2[/sup:5yhihgin] + 60sd + 36d[sup:5yhihgin]2[/sup:5yhihgin]

= (5s)[sup:5yhihgin]2[/sup:5yhihgin] + 2 * 5s * 6d + (6d)[sup:5yhihgin]2[/sup:5yhihgin]

Does this form look familiar for further factorization?

Often a good idea to start with discriminant: SQRT(3600d^2 - 3600d^2) ; get my drift?
So x = -6d/5
