Determine the optimal solution of a standard maximum problem from this tableau

0 1 1 -2 1 -1 0, 40
0 -2 0 4 -1 3 0, 32
1 1 0 -1 1 1 0 63
0 5 0 6 2 3 1 1148

My answer is Maximum z=1148 at (63,0,40) from a list of possible answers. Is this right. Thanks for checking.

a. Maximum z=1148 at (63,0,40)
b. Maximum z=1148 at (40,32,63)
c. Maximum z=1148 at (6,2,3)
d. Maximum z=1148 at (63,16,40).

That tableau doesn't look right to me. To be in canonical form, there should be 3 unit column vectors in the first three rows corresponding to the 3 basic variables. I only see 2. Since x2 = 0 is not a basic variable, I expect to see a unit column vector for the slack variable x5. But instead I see column (1,-1,1). How do you interpret that?

that's how it is written in the text book.

I don't understnad also but that is how it is in the text book.
