Please help! Algebra 3-4 math test tomorrow!Im lost!

I am a sophomore in Algebra 3-4 and i need help with chapter 7 which included "rational exponents", "nth roots", "compound interest formula", "properties of exponents" and other stuff too! Here are some of the problems i am having trouble with:

1. x -1/3*x-1/3

2. 25 to the 1/6th power over 25 to the 2/3s power

3. (73/8)4/9

4. ^3 rad 40 + 4^3 rad 5

5. rad x+ 56=x

6. (^5 rad 2x)-4 = -2

7. Use calculator to evaluate 25^-5/3 to three decimal places

8. Evaluate ^7rad9804 to three decimal places using a calculator

9.solve x^7/5=4

You didn't give COMPLETE instructions and you're lacking some serious (). Keep in mind, it would benefit us all if you let us know exactly where you're having problems.

oh ok sorry about that. I was having trouble typing out everything. to make a correction on #1, the -1/3 s are suposed to be exponents. But if anyone knows how i would like help on how to solve them.

25^(1/6) / 25^(2/3) : that's one way to show clearly
= 1 / [25^(2/3) * 25^(-1/6)]
= 1 / 25^(2/3 - 1/6)
= 1 / 25^(1/2)
= 1 / sqrt(25)
= 1/5

Noooo; you get no further explanations...
if you can't follow that, then you need to study...
