Seriously? Seriously??? Because of the pictures I can see you not typing this in but do you expect us to turn our computer upside down? Or stand on our heads?
Here's what I see- although my neck hurts from standing on my head- one triangle has two sides of length "x" and the angle between them is 30 degrees. The other triangle is a right triangle with legs of length x-2 and x+1. The problem is to determine x so that the two triangles have the same area.
I presume you know that the area of a triangle is "one-half the height times base". That should be easy for the second triangle since it is a right triangle and "height" and "base" are the lengths of the two legs. For the second triangle you can use "x" as the "base" and it should be obvious that the "height" is x sin(30).
