"The displacement, measured in millimeters, of a piston moving with simple harmonic motion is calculated from
Displacement=25cos(200t +1.3)
Determine the
Amplitude
Periodic time
The frequency
The phase angle, in degrees when compared with 25cos(200t)
The position of the piston when t=0
Hi guys and gals looking for some help on this question and not just the answer but how the answer is achieved
Any help would be greatly appreciated

What have you tried? Where are you stuck? Please post your work so that we can give you a hint.

You can't determine where the piston is when t=0? I don't think that is true but if it is you are over your head in this course.

y=Acos(Bt+C).
What does A, B and C represent?

If you didn't understand Jomo's guidance, you should review your trigonometry before trying to solve your problem. In particular, check how to draw trigonometric functions.
