hello,

the homework question states:

what is the slope of the line perpendicular to 2x-7y=54?

Re: perpendicular lines

if the slope of a line = m, then any line perpendicular to that line in the same plane has slope = -1/m.

so ... find the slope of 2x - 7y = 54 by changing it to slope-intercept form (y = mx+b) ... the slope you seek will be that slope's opposite-reciprocal.
