write a formula for the perimeter of the triangle, simplify your answer as far as posible
8 + 2p 8 +2p
32 - 6p
for the two sides of the triangle is 8 + 2p and along the bottom is 32 - 6p
 
That won't do. Please provide the entire problem statement.

Did you not know that the perimeter is the "sum of the sides"?
So simply add: (8 + 2p) + (8 + 2p) + (32 - 6p)

Looks like TK didn't know that either :roll:
