susan has $20.00. Sharon has $25.00. susan claims that she has 20% less than sharon. sharon replies i have 25% more than you. who is right and why?

on a calculator i found that 20% of 25.00 is 5.00 so that means that susan has 20.00 so i assume that her statement is true. but i dont know how to calculates sharons statement..how do i go about solving this problem. is what i have so far right?

(25-20)/20 = 5/20 = 1/4 ==> 25 is 25% greater than 20

(20-25)/25 = -5/25 = -1/5 ==> 20 is 20% less than 25

The trick is in the denominator.
