hello.
I have a data question -
I have full data of a customer file from periods 2006-2008 w/ % of file going 30%, 40%, and 30% representing the years.
I want to compute the percentage change from of this file to fit this statement ..
Since joining, customers have seen their business revenues increase X%.
Now some of my data has blanks and incompletes. So what I've done is find what I've called the "year prior" and "final year" for each record. Next I did a calculation (final year sum) / (year prior sum) - 1 to get % change for those persons joining between 2006-2008. So I have data of the year prior in 2005, 2006, and 2007 (in the above proportions).
Is that accurate to make that statement w/ that data and formula?
