Excuse me, but 330 is the percentage of 1824.
You're trying to ask, "What percent of 1824 is 330?"
Until you learn the difference between percent and percentage, you may remain confused.
The relationship between a percent (in decimal form), a number, and the resulting percentage is:
(NUMBER)(PERCENT) = PERCENTAGE
When you know any two of these three values, you may substitute and solve for the remaining value.
You know the number (1824) and the percentage (330). Hence:
(1824)(?) = 330

What percentage of 1824 is 330?
Then you can translate it in the following way:
What (x) percentage (divide by 100) of (multiply) 1824 is(=) 330?
then replace the wordings with the mathematical operations suggested in the parenthesis:
x /100 * 1824 = 330
Now solve for 'x':
x = 330 * 100/1824
and continue......
