If someone gets paid 218 a week after 10% was taken out what is the total amount he receives a week? Please help thanks.

If someone gets paid 218 a week after 10% was taken out what is the total amount he receives a week?

"Ten percent" is one part in ten. If one part was removed, then nine parts remain. If "218" is nine parts, then how much is one part? (Hint: Divide.) Adding that one part back in with the nine parts, how much is ten parts? (Hint: Add.)
