FInd the domain of the following:
(show work and explain how you obtained your answer)

a) f(t)=log(t-5)

b) g(x)=5ex (e is raised to the power of x)

c)g(x)=ln(t+4)

d)g(t)=5t( 5 has an underscore and is raised to the power of t)

Re: Part 1 Algebra

only functions have domains
A function has only one value for a given value of the variable. Said another way,"A vertical line cuts a function only once."
A circle is not a function but a relationship.
I use oo for infinity
I do not know what underscore means. I answered for 5^t

a) - 5<t<5 a single valued real valued function
b) -oo < x <oo "
c) -4 <t<oo
d) -oo<t<oo
