Give parametric equations for the following curves in rectangular form:

y=(2/3)x+1

y+1=-2(x-4)

y=x^2

x=y^2

x^2+y^2=25

x^2-y^2=1

There are different sorts of parametric equations. What sort are you supposed to be doing? What parameter(s) are you supposed to be using? What formulas and methods have they given you? How far have you gotten? Where are you stuck?
