Juan Gonzales, outfielder for the Texas ranger, comes to bat with the bases loaded and the rangers down 4 to 1 against the Seattle mariners. The count in Gonzalez is 3 and 2, and the pitcher throws a smoking fastball about waist high(3ft above ground). Gonzalez connects and the ball jumps off the bat woth a initial velocity of 155ft/s at an angle of 22 degree above the horizontal. As Gonzales rounds the bases, the ball flies straight at the 420foot marker in center field where the wall is 15 feet tall. Find the height of the ball after it has travel 420ft horizontally. Do you think it will clear the fence to be a home run or could the center fielder jump to catch the ball?
