i really tried this one. i did half of it.

(a) consider the parabola y=x squared and the three points (0,2)(1,1) and C. (1,1) and point c lie on the parabola. what are the coordinates of c?

i got (2, -4)

(b) consider the parabola y=x squared and the three points (0,b) (1,1) and C. (1,1) and point c lie on the parabola. what are the coordinates of point c in terms of b?

i tried this seven times but cannot find the answer in terms of b

thats not the answer. thanks anyway. for part a i got (-2,4). i have to find that in terms of b
