Order of operations

Could someone let me know if I have this problem correct when performing order of operations?
36/(-2)^2+4[5-3(8-9)^5]
36/(-2)^2+4[5-3(-1)^5]
36/(-2)^2+4[2-1]
36/(-2)^2+4[-1]
36/(-4)+4[-1]
36/-4+4-1
-19*4*1
-76*1=-76

Not quite right. You did a subtraction (5-3), before you did a multiplication (-3(-1)).

-2^2 = -4 BUT (-2)^2 = 4 : kapish?
