This is the question.
City council is planning to construct a pedestrian bridge at a junction of two roads which are perpendicular to each road. the width of the roads is 9 m and 4 m respectively. The bridge will be from point S to point T with SBT is a straight line (refer to the diagram).

(a) Express y in terms of x

(b) Find the value of x such that the distance of TA + AS is minimum

Hint: Use prinple of similar triangles
