so i solved for finding the inverse function of f, in f(x)=2x+1 and i got the answer wrong could someone take me step by step on how to solve this problem.

Steps for finding an inverse function of y=2x+1.
1. Rearrange equation to get x= ....
2. Change x to y and y to x.

Give it a go.
